Family Facts Pregnancy Organizer & Planner – Review & Giveaway

When I was pregnant with both of my children, I often dreamed of the perfect calendar and planner that would be able to organize all my pregnancy information. The first time around I really felt the need to keep track of every bit of information that came my way regarding my pregnancy.  I had papers with bits of information on them stuffed in my purse, on the kitchen table, in, on and around my desk. I often got very disorganized, which in turn gave me a tremendous amount of stress. Which is something mothers-to-be do not need!

I haven’t talked about this much on my blog but I guess now is the perfect time to admit it. I definitely have a slight case of OCD. There is no doubt about it. Ask anyone who ever roomed with me when I was younger and first living out on my own. Just the sight of bread crumbs on my kitchen counter would throw me into a fit.. and to this day when it comes to paperwork you’d think I was a librarian.

You can’t even imagine my excitement when just a couple weeks ago I came across Pam Socolow’s Family Facts Pregnancy Organizer & Planner. Although I had just given birth 6 weeks before I felt compelled to review it for my readers.

After checking out every single page I have to tell you that it is the planner to have. The OCD In me wants to gather up every little piece of paper in my office, go back in time and fill in every page. It’s just that cool.

Here are a few reasons it’s better than the rest:

  • Undated calendar that you can fill in yourself
  • Perforated page corners that you can rip off as you go along
  • Pages for contacts labeled in such ways as: who to call when labor starts, neighbors, & babysitters
  • Health section with special pages for keeping track of each Dr’s appt. Ie: weight, blood pressure, test results etc. (I think every new mom-to-be would LOVE this)
  • Other sections such as: What I need for baby, baby registry (with room for website address, logins, passwords), Delivery day bag, Hospital/Birth center tour (notes and questions you should ask)
  • 3 pages of stickers such as delivery day, baby shower, due date, first trimester, appointment & birthday.
  • Special sections in the back for holding business cards or photos & a sealed section that zips closed somewhat like a ziploc for miscellaneous items.
  • Special tips on the bottom of various pages to give reminders & keep you on track.
