Winter is soon upon us and I don’t know about you but for me that means dry hands, feet and elbows. In fact about a month ago when it started getting cold I noticed a huge difference in my skin. It also doesn’t help that I tend to be dehydrated quite often. I take a popular medication that is most often used for Type 2 Diabetes (I use it for PCOS) and one of the many side effects is dehydration. For whatever reason this usually tends to show up mostly in all the places I mentioned above.
It took me many years to find a product that I could use on my face. I have seriously sensitive skin on top of my dehydration problem. I have seen Udderly smooth around for a while and I have wanted to try it but I didn’t want to mess with the routine it took me 15 years to find, which is basically just Nivea cream. I have to put it on about 3 times a day in the winter. I use it on my hands, face and elbows. I use Vaseline on my feet after each shower. I have various other lotions I use as well (because I love the scent) but never on my face.
I am glad to say that after a week of using all of the lotions, on my hands, face, and feet I have had no problems. I will say that I favor the udder cream over the lotion as it’s much thicker and more like what I’m used to. The regular lotion is great for in between times and more than likely it would be enough for people who don’t have problems as severe as mine. The foot lotion works great too although not as good as Vaseline for me BUT let me tell you, my feet get tore up pretty bad because I almost never wear socks or shoes except for in the winter.
I will definitely continue to use all of it as it’s nice to switch up your routine once in a while. I loved the light scent, the packaging is also super cute and I love that the foot cream comes in a pump bottle! Much more handy than sticking your hands in a bottle and gobbing stuff on your feet.
