Flameless Candles From Enjoy Lighting – Safer Candle Options For Those With Children – Review and Giveaway

I have always been a big fan of candles. I had every color, size and scent imaginable back in the days before I had kids. Once my oldest son started walking I realized there was no way I could have real lit candles in my house anymore.  Now 2 years later I have an 8 month old and I’m back in the same situation.

Not long ago I had the opportunity to check out Enjoy Lighting Flameless candles. I have to admit that I’ve heard of them and I’ve seen them around at the stores but I never really looked at them up close. If I had I would have bought some!

Made With Real Wax

You can see the 3 here that I received. Look how realistic they look. These aren’t your cheap looking plastic flameless candles of yesteryear. These candles look & smell amazingly real. That’s because they’re made with real wax!

The two white ones on the end, which are vanilla scented even have a timer which you can set. You can turn it on and it will automatically turn off after, 4, 6 or even 8 hours. They require 4AA batteries and offer around 300+ hours of battery life. The red one in the middle which is an amazing cranberry scented candle has 3 LED lights that flicker, which make it very realistic looking.

Realistic Flames

As you can see in picture below that I took of one of the white candles, you can’t even tell that it’s a flameless candle. The candles with 3 LED lights are a little easier to spot since the lights are separated but you would have to actually look in the candle to see. In fact they totally fooled my husband when he first seen them. I also can’t say enough things about the scents. So many days now when I’ve walked in my house from outside the first thing I smell are these candles. And that’s not even with them on!

Safer Than Traditional Candles

The biggest plus to using candles like this is of course the fact that your children won’t be burned by a real flame or possibly start a fire when they knock it over. The only thing is that because they are made with real wax they are somewhat fragile and can still be chipped and cracked so they’re still best left out of children’s and pets reach.
