I don’t ask very often but today I need a favor from my dear readers.
A local furniture store is having a contest to win a $500 gift card to their store. Each comment on the picture I entered counts towards a vote (1 comment per person only) and for each comment they will donate $1 to the Michigan Animal Adoption Network. If you’ve seen any of the Animal Cops Detroit on Animal Planet you’ll know that there are a lot of animals in Michigan who really need the help.
As for myself I could really use the help right now also. I’m currently sleeping on an air mattress.. pretty much every night in my room is like camping out. I threw my bed away because it was just destroying my back (it was 10 yrs old) and my water had broke on it back in September.. and well, yuck. It needed to go! I thought I was being smart and motivating myself by chucking it out to the garbage all by my big bad self. “Now I HAVE to get a new one I said to myself’.
Unfortunately other things came up almost immediately after my smart idea. (leaking water tank, crazy new refrigerator destroying all my food).
Winning this contest would really help out a lot! I’m a firm believer in karma. I’ll continue to pay any good fortune forward. Please let me know if there’s some way I can help you in return.
