I’ve been reviewing the LG intuition for Verizon for a couple of weeks now. They call it a “phablet” because it’s a cross between a phone and a tablet. Somehow my phone wasn’t set up correctly so I haven’t tried any actual calling features yet, but I have been using it with wi-fi in my home almost every night. And although it has a few flaws that I don’t like (battery life is short) I found that I’m starting to fall in love with it. Here’s why:
I’m currently sitting on my couch in the dark, the baby is laying next to me sleeping she’s not feeling well, she tried oatmeal for the 2nd time ever today and it didn’t agree with her at all so I can’t sit at my desk like i normally do. I have just downloaded the word press app and I’m writing. I mean I’m dictating this entire post with the voice to text feature. I can sit here and keep a close eye on my baby and I can get a few thoughts out.
This would be perfect for on-the-go, maybe when I’m with the kids at the park or if I wanted to do a quick Wordless Wednesday post with a few pics. Or maybe just an update about something new the babies doing. I can definitely see myself not being able to make excuses about blogging personal posts. This is just too quick to deny that I don’t have the time. I mean not to be gross but you can literally sit in the bathroom and do this haha. That may sound disgusting to some but if you’re a mom especially of little children you know what I mean. Sometimes that’s the only time you get alone and usually not even that.
I am very impressed with the voice to text. Its doing a great job so far. it’s picking up a few incorrect things but I’d say it’s about 75 percent accurate. A lot of it also has to do with the way I speak and my northern accent.
Anyway I just thought I would test this out and show you how easy it is. I can be pretty talkative when I’m typing I can’t imagine what kind of damage I would do with voice to text all the time so I’m going to end it here. But before I go I’m going to go ahead and try to style and edit this post and submit it directly from the LG intuition just to show you how easy the intuition makes this.
