I have to admit I hadn’t eaten Cracker Jack’s in ages but the minute I opened the bag it brought me back to my childhood. My Grandparents always had a supply of Cracker Jack on hand for the entire family.  We’d eat it during baseball games, trips to the zoo, picnics, traveling. I can recall so many memories when Cracker Jack was there! I can honestly tell you that I used to think it was the greatest thing in the world.  I used to love opening up the boxes & getting to the prize inside. My favorite were always the temporary tattoos. I’d walk around thinking I was so cool.  As kids we’d go around bragging to each other about having the best snack that day.  “I have Cracker Jacks and you don’t ha ha”. 

 

It was fun to introduce my boys to Cracker Jack after all these years & tell them all my related stories. It really made me miss the innocence of being a kid again.
