We dealt with a bit of a bullying issue last year when my son attended Preschool for the first time, and this year he is off to Kindergarten so this book was able to give him some insight into how to react when someone treats you unkindly. I think Hugo is a cute little character most kids could identify with. I also loved the illustrations. The artwork captured the kids attention.
According to the author she wrote these books specifically to help educate children about their feelings, their attitude, their choices, and the consequences that follow.
