Diono Radian RXT
A couple of years ago I started noticing that Kohl’s put their Diono Radian RXT’s on sale for incredibly low prices once every 8-9 months. This year their deal has come early! You will probably never see it cheaper than it is now as this is the cheapest it’s been in 3 years so if you’re in the need for a great seat that will work from birth until your child is out of a seat all together, this is the time to scoop up this deal.
This year Kohl’s has 5 colors/styles available. 1 of them is the plum like seen on the right, which I own and can attest is a very beautiful car seat. I also own 2 grey’s for my son’s and they match my grey leather interior very nicely.
A Couple Reasons Why I love My Radian RXT’s:
- Their safety record & design
- They fit 3 across in the backseat of a vehicle!! (I bought 3 of these instead of a new car)
- Their style (They have some cool colors)
- Seat can be folded & carried with a strap (Although they are slightly heavy due to the superior build)
- Most importantly because you can fit a child into a 5 point harness up to 80lbs. My 6 yr old still sits in a 5pt. harness, forward facing instead of a regular flimsy booster seat.
- Children can be rear facing in this seat up to 45lbs. My daughter (born almost 12lbs, 95th percentile for height/weight, 38lbs still sits rear facing & is happy as can be).
- Seat life is 10 years!
