Babies First Food

I don’t know why I never shared this with you before. I guess I get sidetracked very easily. Anyway! way back in August (when he was 4 months) my son tried his first solids and at that time he also said his first words. Meaning, plural. Two words that he put together. It came as a real surprise to me that he did it so early but not a surprise that he actually did it…

Gerber Baby Food Coupons

I know a lot of mothers these days are preparing their own food for baby at home, and I considered doing it myself but I found I wasn’t able to do a good job with the equipment I have so I decided to go ahead and use jars. There isn’t one type baby or I prefer more, as far as names go. We use almost all brands depending on the flavors available. I’ll discuss it…

10 Things That Would Make My Life With Baby Easier

Down for the count

So, this past Friday out of the blue I became sick. I don’t know what happened but by the end of the night I had chills, shakes and a slight fever. I ended up going to bed at 9:30pm! which is totally unheard of for me. I usually like to wind down a little after baby has gone to bed because it’s a chore to get him settled for the night. However, for the first…

Product Review: Luvs Diapers

Like every new mother, when my son was born I immediately had an idea of which diaper I was going to use. I knew it would be either Huggies or Pampers. The two most popular brands available on the market. However, every time we went to buy more we could never remember which kind we had bought! Both Huggies and Pampers have a variety of different styles. Some were bulky, some leaked, some just had…

Breastfed babies may develop stronger lungs according to recent study

Results from a recent study of 10-year-olds on the Isle of Wight by Brtish and US scientists found much better lung function in babies that were breastfed for at least four months. A total of 1,456 babies were followed all the way through to their 10th year to test this. A third of them had been breastfed for at least four months, and on average, these children could blow out more air after taking a…
