I don’t usually post about my husband but I figured at least one person might wonder why I haven’t been very active lately. A few weeks ago my husband went for his yearly work physical and it was discovered that he had a small hernia. He knows when it happened and it was work related. [...]

Well, it pangs me to even type this but as of recently I’ve been thinking more and more that it might be time to put Vincent in a daycare for at least 1 day a week. Someone else first made the suggestion, which I wasn’t too happy about because it wasn’t made directly to me [...]
Time has gone by so fast! On April 2nd we celebrated Vincent’s 1st birthday.
Just today I got to see my neighbors new baby (he’s 3 weeks old) and it was amazing to think that at this time last year my son was just about the same size. Wow, where has the time gone? In the [...]

Aaah.. it’s been so long since I have updated my blog! Sometimes I feel like I’m just being lazy about it but then I think about all the things I have going on and I realize that for once in my life I think I have my priorities straight. I mean I could sit here [...]

Phew…. although the holidays were made a lot brighter for me this year due to it being my son’s first Christmas I have never been so glad that they were over. I single handedly wrapped all but one gift. That’s 9 people in my husbands family, 5 in mine and then all the [...]

Where has the time gone? When I was pregnant the days and weeks seemed to drag on forever. Last year at this time I was sitting home all alone, just about to turn 5 months pregnant. I had quit my job after being sick for many weeks and I had just recently moved back [...]

1. A house bigger than 500 sq. feet. – Yeah it’s economical. We have no mortgage. Our property taxes are low due to being grandfathered but there is no room to breathe!
2. A bathtub!!!! – My son is almost 30 inches long and he’s still bathing in his baby tub in [...]

The day you discover you are pregnant, once reality sets in and you completely understand that “this is really happening”, one of the first things that may run through your mind is “Will I be a good mom?”. It won’t be the last time you think that either. You’ll have 9 long months to [...]

At approximately 3 months old Vincent started what I thought was teething. He’s started drooling up a storm, sticking anything and everything straight into his mouth and acting fussy. I thought for sure he’d have a tooth in a few weeks. Haha. Then when he stopped sleeping nights, in my head I [...]

Vincent had his 6 month well-baby check-up just a couple of weeks ago. I believe the shots he got were the Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis, Haemophilus Influenza Type B, Polio, Pneumococcal Conjugate, and Rotavirus. He had the 2nd of his Hep B shots at his 3 month check-up so he didn’t get another this time. [...]
