I participated in a Blog Blast on behalf of Mom Central for Urbini. I received information from Urbini to facilitate my post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. All opinions are my own.

Mom Voyage

I absolutely love reading about experiences from moms in different nations other than my own. I find it fascinating. I’ve been obsessed with foreign cultures and languages since I was young. In fact that’s why I ended up in Norway over 12 years ago, where I met my children’s father. These days we have 3 beautiful Norwegian-American children.  I don’t travel around the world like I used to but I love keeping up with all my Norwegian friends & hearing their stories about how differently we raise our children.

Because of all of this, I’m excited to announce that Urbini, the makers of a globally inspired line of baby gear such as strollers & car seats have created a new blog for moms like me, that love other cultures. It’s called Mom Voyáge & it’s a community of bloggers that share their experiences in motherhood from all over the world!  Featured contributors come from Netherlands, France, Britain, Holland, Japan, China and Australia as well as the US. How cool is that? You can get a global perspective on how different cultures do all sorts of things regarding children, including how they name their babies, celebrate pregnancies, or even how many weeks they get for maternity leave (Be jealous, be very jealous).

I encourage you to check out the  Mom Voyáge website! I think you’ll love it just as much as I do.
