If you follow me on Instagram you probably know I love veggies. In fact I try to incorporate them into almost every meal I eat. Of course I don’t expect my kids to eat spinach or broccoli omelets for breakfast like I do but I do try to expose them to as much variety as I can. I figure the more options they have the better chance they’ll find something they like. I’ve also found I have the best luck with the kids when I lead by example so I always keep plenty of veggies on hand.
When I was given the opportunity to head over to Meijer and check out a few of the new Birds Eye® Steamfresh® Flavor Full and Steamfresh® Protein Blends I was excited. I’m always on the lookout for something new & easy. This was right up my alley. Which Will You Try?
I personally picked out the Southwest Style Protein Blend, Barbecue Sweet Corn, and Buffalo Cauliflower. I’m not sure which one I’m more anxious to try. I’ve been thinking up all kinds of recipes. Now that the weather is warmer I’ve been considering various dishes we could do for a picnic or barbecue. Whatever I decide upon I’m going to share it with you next week so be on the lookout!
