Cardstore – Extend Your Table–Holiday Stuffing Recipe #CardstoreThanks

It’s almost that time of year again when we gather around the table with our family and friends and give thanks for all that we have. This year it will just be my immediate family. My little sister moved away a couple of years ago and my little brother who is a marine, is on a ship somewhere near Africa the last I heard. I miss them both terribly, and the holiday’s we used to share when we were all younger. So this year I will be thinking about them, especially about my brother, who doing so much for our country, for which I’m extremely thankful. The last holiday I spent with him was Thanksgiving 2 years ago.

Mushroom & Onion Holiday Stuffing

Every year one of my favorite side dishes during the holidays is stuffing. My mom came up with a simple recipe years ago which my Grandfather ended up loving. (He was a great cook himself once upon a time). Since then even though I don’t think she’s ever tasted it herself she’s made it for the rest of us (How gracious is that?). I have tried other stuffing’s when I visited other houses during the holiday’s but none of them compare to my moms mushroom & onion stuffing so I had to adopt it as my own. It’s very mild & even those who don’t like mushrooms or onions tend to love it. It can even be altered ever so slightly for vegetarians. This is one of the easiest stuffing’s you can prepare. Everyone is sure to love it! Trust me.

I’d love to share this very special and delicious recipe with you!
