Beanfields Bean and Rice Chips–You’ve Never Had Chips Like This – Review and Giveaway (Now Closed)

http://www.beanfieldssnacks.com/

For snack lovers like me looking for a healthier alternative to corn chips, tortilla chips or potato chips, a new line of crispy and delicious bean and rice chips has just been introduced by Beanfields. Made from a combination of premium U.S. grown black beans, navy beans and long grain rice, Beanfields chips have a taste and crunch that sets them apart.

I love beans with a passion. I also love tortilla chips. When I heard about Beanfields I was excited yet a little apprehensive. When I finally tasted them I was pleasantly surprised. The Pico De Gallo was excellent with a pronounced salsa flavor. I also tried the Sea Salt & Pepper. To this day I have not found a salt and pepper chip I have liked, but Beanfields definitely changed that. They have a kick to them with the pepper and a little punch with the sea salt but they were not overwhelming.

The chips overall are really hard to explain. They most certainly taste like beans and they do taste a lot like tortilla chips when it comes to crunch, but they’re a bit heavier or denser. There is most definitely a significant bean flavor so if you don’t like beans they wouldn’t be for you. It almost reminded me of eating a delicious bean burrito but in crunchy form lol.

Something else I noticed about them is that they were a lot more filling for me. Instead of being tempted to eat a whole bag of chips I was satisfied after a single serving. This might have something to do with the fiber content.
