This time of year it can be incredibly difficult keeping your skin & lips nourished & hydrated. Especially here in the Midwest where we have severe winters. I personally have to keep myself moisturized every day just to keep the dryness under control. I have found that after having several children that it’s even harder. Mostly because I wash my hands at least 20 times a day. After wiping noses, changing diapers, preparing dinner. Add to that the harsh winter weather and it’s a recipe for disaster when it comes to skin.
Thankfully Carmex has the answer: Carmex Healing Cream & Hydrating Lotion.
“Both products are specially formulated to heal and repair even the driest skin-no matter what the weather has in store. With increased levels of lanolin, Carmex Healing Cream mimics your skin’s natural lipid layer to maximize healing, while petrolatum and allantoin soften rough skin and aid in moisturization. Perfect for everyday use, Carmex Hydrating Lotion is loaded with vitamin E and ultra-concentrated aloe vera to sooth skin and deliver serious hydration, without any greasiness.”
I’ve been partial to the Carmex Healing Cream when it comes to my hands & saving the lotion for my arms & legs. We get a lot of wind here in Michigan which doesn’t help much when it’s paired with everything I described above. I’ve reviewed a lot of lotions over the past few years & there have been very few that I continue to use on a regular basis. I’ve been using the Hydrating Cream for the past 3 days and I can definitely tell a difference. It’s much thicker than regular lotion.
I ran out of my Carmex lotions a few months ago & I had been using other lotions I had laying around and I tell you, they really just didn’t cut it. It almost seemed like a waste of time. I’m definitely glad to have the Carmex Healing Cream here on my desk. I have to mention as well that the lotions & creams all have the same unique scent that I’ve come to love. A mixture between cocoa butter, camphor, menthol, & vanilla.
