It’s not often I ask a favor of you but in this case I really need your help. I entered photos of my kitchen appliances into the Sears and Kitchen Aid –Rescue My Appliances Sweepstakes. Grand Prize: $7000 worth of new appliances! The winner will be chosen from the top 10 entries (with the most votes) and voting only lasts for the next 2 weeks.
The deadline to enter your kitchen has passed BUT every day you are allowed to vote for 1 entry. Each vote counts towards an entry to win a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer which I know some of you, including myself would love this Christmas.

In order to vote you need to register first! They give you 2 additional entries per day if you have a facebook and twitter account (they ask for your names). Then you simply click the little red “rescue these” link next to the “view next entry” button. I had a hard time registering at first and finding my way back to my entry. You might need to register then come here and click again. But please don’t give up!
With a newborn and a 2 year old there is only so much we can do with our house at once. My current appliances are on their last legs and like this house were inherited from my Grandmother, who I just lost this summer. They haven’t been updated in around 25 years! I could go on and on but there’s no sense. I’ll just show you the pictures and let you decide for yourself. I will however say one thing. I am really embarrassed to show these! I don’t even let my friends visit since I moved here. With me just giving birth not long ago I was not able to do much about these recent problems that were discovered in my kitchen. We’re just now about to start trying to replace everything and working to update the house.. but with 2 little ones, it will take some time and a lot more money than I ever anticipated. I need all the help I can get.

Have you had any problems voting? Every time I try to vote, I get sent back to the register now/login page. It never lets me vote
Yes! I have contacted them and I have seen a ton of other ppl complain about the same thing on the facebook page. Thank you so much for trying. I don’t know what’s going on. My vote did go through today so it might be working now.
