On August 2, 2011 Cartoon Network released on DVD the third installment in the Ben 10 series. Ben 10: Ultimate Alien Volume 3: The Return of Heatblast.

 

If you’re unfamiliar with Ben 10, you should probably talk to your boys because they’re not.  Ben 10: Ultimate Alien is one of Cartoon Networks most beloved series and has ranked as the #1 show among Boys 6-14 on Friday nights so far during its second season, according to Nielsen Media Research.

 

This 2-disc DVD is 230 minutes of action, featuring episodes from the second season and a Blast from the Past Database. In these episodes 16 year old Ben Tennyson confronts past enemies, battles alien threats and learns to master the Ultimatrix! Ben has all is original powers and abilities but they are even stronger and more powerful and in their “Ultimate” forms.

 

Ben is forced to confront his past as enemies come crawling back for more trouble. He faces a rematch when Heatblast takes on evil Dr. Viktor and, when Elena arrives with a new swarm of nanochips, Ben 10,000 reappears to battle Eon. But it’s up to Ben 10’s super-fan Jimmy Jones to save the day, and rescue the whole team from a vicious alien plant species before it’s too late!
