I was recently introduced to Twotara, a unique brand of baby clothing. The Twotara brand of clothing and accessories are named after the Tuatara which is a chameleon-like lizard – native to New Zealand – that changes colors over time. It fits this line perfectly because what makes Twotara so unique is that the clothing and accessories are actually reversible. Each side contains a different color. One side is blue for boys & the other is pink for girls.
As a mom of 3 little ones I’ve done some serious baby clothes shopping over the past 4 1/2 years and I’ve never come across anything like the line from Twotara. Their line is very small and simple, rompers, footies, gowns, as well as hats, booties & mittens. Each piece is made of soft, 100% interlock knit cotton making them super comfortable on a newborns skin.
Silje and I got to try out an outfit. You may have seen her in it when I posted her picture on Facebook. She has the striped 0-3 month footie on which fits babies up to 12lbs and 24 inches. At 6 weeks now she’s around 13lbs & over 24 inches but it still fit, although very snuggly and not for long. I love the little pockets on the butt & how they had bubbles on them which matched the sleeves. It’s also of note that this clothing actually contains 2 sides meaning 2 pieces of cloth which make them rather heavy.

I just love this idea of not finding out the gender of the baby. My husband and I decided with our first child that we would not find out. And here we are six and half weeks to go and we still don’t know.
